Fedora’s

Fedora_V2_460x285This place has been around since 1952. And some of the original patrons are still coming.  It is like stepping into the West Village of the 60ts. When it was gay, truly gay and not just Lindsy Lohan gay. When it was an artists’ neighborhood, not a celebrity playground. You can have a complete 3 course meal for under $14 bucks. The best part is the owner Fedora (86 years young), who makes her entrance every nite at 8:30, welcomed by a round of applause from her longtime customers. She then takes her place behind the bar to graciously and tenderly serve all some good strong drinks. So if your lasagna is a tad dry, shut up! It’s not polite to be so critical of a loving granny’s cooking.
